Several mathematical models were created to analyze the behavior of concrete and the reinforce- ments. Factors including inelasticity, time dependence, cracking and the inter- active effects between reinforcement and concrete were considered. The crushing of the concrete in compression and the cracking of the concrete in ten- sion are the two common failure modes of concrete.

The results showed that the proposed model had good correlation with prior arts and empirical formulations. Researchers have tried to analyze the behavior of concrete and have pub- lished several reports and technical reports on this subject. However, the behavior of concrete is complex, and many parameters must be considered for its analysis. Concrete is composed of qualitatively and quantitatively dif- ferent types of materials.

These mate- rials exhibit different properties in terms of tension and compression. Constitutive models are used for this purpose, and an example of these models is the concrete damage plasticity CDP model.
